What is RSS?

RSS is a format created to communicate news headlines. News titles are available, along with short summaries, immediately after their on-line publication. In addition, all news stories are divided into thematic channels, allowing us to personalise the news you receive.

Thanks to RSS, we do not have to keep viewing our favourite services just to check whether any news has been added – a special reader does it for us by gathering the latest information and presenting it to us in a clear and readable form.

How do I use Barlinek’s RSS channels?

RSS can be read in several ways:

Using the appropriate reader programme:

Web pages with on-line reader:

Web browsers with built-in RSS readers:

• Firefox
• Opera
• Safari

If you already have the appropriate software or web browser, all you need to do is choose which RSS channels you wish to receive and add their addresses to your reader.
