The Warsaw Stock Exchange has signed distribution agreements with the German information agency VWD and two Polish companies: the financial portal MONEY.PL and the company OPERA Dom Maklerski.
Money.pl and OPERA DM will offer their retail clients real-time access to exchange information from the WSE Main Market and NewConnect. VWD which mainly serves financial institutions will provide WSE Main Market information.
MONEY.PL is the second financial portal (after PARKIET.COM) to offer real-time access to exchange quotations.
Distribution agreements are mainly signed between the WSE and brokerage houses as well as information agencies, although vendors also include internet portals and software providers willing to add WSE quotations to their offer.
With the new agreements, the number of distributors grows to 46, including 27 Polish and 19 foreign companies in the UK (Factiva, Fidesssa, Interactive Data, Proquote, Thomson Reuters, UBS), the USA (Bloomberg, CQG, FACTset, Townsend Analytics), Sweden (Glitnir, Neonet), Germany (VWD), Switzerland (Telekurs), France (GL Trade), Austria (Ecetra), Denmark (SAXO Bank), Norway (Infront), and Slovakia (FIO).
The number of distributors offering access to NewConnect quotations grows to 30 while the number of vendors offering access to NewConnect listed company reports grows to 16.
Real-time WSE information is available to over 180 thousand subscribers in Poland and on all continents. The steady growth in the number of vendors and subscribers proves the importance of the markets operated by the WSE.
