- WSE equity trading value is 30-40 percent higher than in Vienna and Athens.
- The value of companies listed on the WSE Main List is more than 50% higher than in Vienna and more than double that in Athens.
- The gap between the capitalisation of CEE SEG (the group of stock exchanges in Vienna, Prague, Ljubljana and Budapest) and the WSE has decreased by more than a third in the last two months.
- According to the most recent statistics published by the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE) after the end of H1 2010, the distance between the WSE and other CEE and South European exchanges is growing. The value of domestic companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange is 55 percent higher than in Vienna and more than double that in Athens.
- The gap between the capitalisation of CEE SEG, the group of the stock exchanges in Vienna, Prague, Ljubljana and Budapest, and the capitalisation of the WSE has decreased by 36 percent in the last two months, from EUR 31 billion in April to EUR 19 billion at the end of June 2010.
