The Management of Barlinek S.A. hereby announces that sales of multi-layer boards in June this year totalled 809,020 m2, setting a company record, while pellet sales totalled 11,216 tons. Quantitative board sales in June 2009 stood at 131.8% of the level of sales in June 2008, and pellet sales 369.6%. The Barlinek Group is currently without doubt the largest manufacturer of multi-layer floorboards in Europe, and has strengthened its position among the top pellet producers.

"Despite the continuing stagnation on European markets and strong price pressure, Barlinek is consistently increasing sales of its two flagship products: multi-layer floorboards and pellet," said the Chairmen of Barlinek S.A.'s Management Board, Paweł Wrona."Barlinek's share of the total sales in Europe is systematically growing. We hope that, in the face of our competitors great problems (some of them have declared bankruptcy and nearly all have drastically reduced production), 2010 and 2011 will bring a major reduction in manufacturing power, which should have a positive effect on operating profit."
