The management of Barlinek S.A. hereby announces that, as a result of a mistake discovered in the date given for the registration of a change in the amount of initial capital of a dependent company as contained in report no. 13/2006 of March 22nd 2006, the Company provides the correct text of Current Report 13/2006:

The management of Barlinek S.A. today received information that on March 13th 2006, by a resolution of the District Court in Szczecin, XVII Economic Department of the National Court, a change was registered in the amount of initial capital of "BARLINEK INWESTYCJE" ltd. (a dependent company of the Issuer).

The amount of initial capital of Barlinek Inwestycje ltd after the registration stands at 215,000,000.00 PLN. The initial capital after registration is divided into 4,300,000 shares. The shares in the increased capital were taken over by the Issuer, paying in cash.

Barlinek PLC, after the registration of the change in the amount of initial capital of Barlinek Inwestycje ltd by the Court, remains the sole shareholder in this company.
