The management of Barlinek S.A. hereby announces that on June 30th 2006 the Supervisory Board of Barlinek S.A. appointed Ms Wioletę Bartosz and Mr Ryszard Pyrek as members of the Barlinek S.A. Management Board.

Ms Wioleta Bartosz completed her Finance and Banking studies at the University of Szczecin with a specialisation in Accountancy and Finance Management. Ms Wioleta Bartosz is a licensed tax adviser, no. 10497.

From July 1st 2003 until June 30th 2006, Ms Wioleta Bartosz was an independent executive of Barlinek S.A. Her professional career has been as follows:

Since March 2005 - Barlinek Inwestycje ltd as Finance Director

2000 - 2005 - Barlinek S.A. as Head Accountant, later Finance Director

1998-2000 – Pomorskie Gravel Mines as Head Accountant

1996-1998 – Włókno Housing Association as Head Accountant, Deputy Chairwoman

1991-1996 - Gorzowskie Przedsiębiorstwo Przemysłu Drzewnego (Wood Industry) ltd. as Head Accountant

1986-1991 - Gorzowskie Przedsiębiorstwo Przemysłu Drzewnego (Wood Industry) ltd as an Accountant

Since February 14th 2005, Ms Wioleta Bartosz has been an independent executive of Barlinek ltd.

Ms Wioleta Bartosz does not conduct any business operations in competition with the Company, nor is she is a partner of any competing civil company or individual, nor a member of any body of a capital company or member of any body of any other competing legal person. She has not been entered on the register of bad debtors kept on the basis of the National Court Register Act.

Mr Ryszard Pyrek has a secondary technical education (a forestry technician). Since January 1st 2006, Mr Ryszard Pyrek has been employed by Barlinek Inwestycje ltd as Managing Director. On May 2nd 2006 Mr Ryszard Pyrek was appointed Chairman of the Board of Management of Barlinek Inwestycje ltd.

Mr Ryszard Pyrek’s previous professional experience has mainly been connected with work in Barlinek SA. (1999-2005) in management positions (Head of Production, Production Manager, Managing Director), and earlier in the Barlinek Wood Industry Company (1973-1976 and 1978-1999) in positions connected with woodworking, and later in management posts.

Pan Ryszard Pyrek is not a partner of any competing civil company or individual, nor a member of any body of a capital company or member of any body of any other competing legal person. He has not been entered on the register of bad debtors kept on the basis of the National Court Register Act.
