Information requiring a change to the text of the prospectus

The management of Barlinek S.A. hereby announces that on July 22nd this year it received a decision from the Patent Office of the Polish Republic about a change in the register of merchandise marks no. R-153962. This change concerns a merchandise mark entitled by registration.

In connection with this, the text of the Company’s Share Issue Prospectus is to change. Chapter 5, “Details of the Issuer’s activities”, par.13 “Information about patents, licenses and merchandise marks held by the Issuer”, page 99 is to change so that the words:
“The Issuer holds the following patents, licenses and merchandise marks:” will be followed by: “the protection right to the merchandise word mark MAJSTER, granted by the Patent Office of the Polish Republic by a decision of July 11th 2005.” The remaining entries of par.13 of the Issue Prospectus remain unaltered.
