Trading in pre-emptive rights to acquire L-series shares and subscription to L-series shares

All investors who on the 27th September 2008 (the day of the pre-emptive right to acquire L-series shares) were in posession of shares of Barlinek S.A registered on their on their trading accounts, have the pre-emptive right to acquire L-series shares as of 29th September, 2008.

Prospectus concerning the L-series shares, the pre-emptive right and the right to acquire L-series shares was deposited with Financial Inspection Commission in August this year.

The first trading session of the Pre-emptive Rights will take place within several days of approval by the Financial Inspection Commission of the Prospectus. Subscription to L-series shares will take place after expiry of the period of trading in pre-emptive rights.
