Leaders in Polish Ecology – a distinction for Barlinek

On October 22nd this year an awards ceremony took place in Warsaw’s National Philharmonic Hall which included prizes and distinctions for the Ministry of the Environment’s “Leader of Polish Ecology” competition. More than 130 companies were entered in the 11th Competition, and from these were chosen the winners of distinctions and the title of “Leader of Polish Ecology”.

Barlinek was awarded the title Leader of Polish Ecology, and thus joined the elite group of those companies and institutions most heavily engaged in environmental protection.

The Ministry of the Environment’s “Leader of Polish Ecology” competition honours and promotes those whose actions are based on balanced development, and propagates positive role models and ways of achieving economic success through work in the field of environmental protection. The title “Leader of Polish Ecology” is only awarded to those who contribute the most to improving the state of our country’s environment.
